When attempting to install antiX-17-base (32-bit) to toshiba laptop, the installer gave me this message:

      Smartmon tool output:

      5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 754

The disk with the partition you selected for installation passes the S.M.A.R.T. monitor test (smartctl)
but the tests indicate it will have a higher than average failure rate in the upcoming year.
If unsure, please exit the Installer and run GSmartControl for more information.

      Do you want to continue?

I continued with the installation without problems. Afterwards, I ran GSmartControl. I attach the output file. Any idea what’s wrong with the disk?

when a physical area of a hard disk start to go bad, the disk will try to reallocate the information to a new sector and location on disk. However, your device is doing this fairly often, which can be indicative of a progressive failure of the disk.
5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0033 100 100 050 Pre-fail Always – 754

        196 Reallocated_Event_Count 0x0032 100 100 000 Old_age Always – 754
The failures may accelerate at some point. The disk will fail and not be able to reallocate bad sectors eventually. Replacement is the solution.
