I always seem to have dependences issues with dmo1 packages all the dependences are on the dmo1 server, but I don,t want to have a half broken system for-filling the dependences.
This has happened in the past as well and do not understand why. If I try to install a mpd_dmo1.deb of any version dependences issues every time, But if I install the same version of mpd.deb that Stevo made it just installs with out issues.
cd /tmp/mympd/debian
and the command
dpkg-buildpackage -b -us -uc (this would not run until I was outside the debian folder)changelog issue..(I am not going to give up on this)just wish I could someone else then dmo1.. or different method.

::If you can use a virtualbox session or throwaway liveboot session to build from (if, meaning if RAM permits) that removes the worry regarding installation of whatever build dependencies spoiling your day-to-days system. Often, once you bring the finished .deb file onto your regular system & attempt to install it, it installs fine (the app’s runtime dependencies are satisfiable using versions of packages available from your everyday repository).
libshout3-dev libsystemd-dev libsidplay2-dev libsqlite3-dev
this would hit a wall on my system (probably yours too).
Prior to attempting installation of the listed packages (on the throwaway system), would need to remove
/etc/apt/preferences.d/00systemdAlso, check
apt-mark showhold
I can’t recall whether a stock antiX system pre-installs any systemd-related rules
(probably not, pinning not necessary with the /etc/apt/preferences.d/00systemd in place)ps: please edit your earlier post; remove the busted failed quote portion of it.
