      For anyone needing to get gl screensavers working.
      1. Open synaptic package manager and search screensaver.
      2. Install rss-glx xscreensaver -data -data-extra -gl -gl-extra packages.
      3. Open a terminal and run /usr/bin/rss-glx_install.
      4. Open screensaver in preferences and enjoy.

      note: you might have to hit reload in synaptic and install any updates first.

        thx for whoever edited this and posted in proper place
        just wanted to add this was for the antix17-32 bit full version
        and so cannot get to work in the antix17-64 bit full version.

          A small update here…on my new installs I had to run this as a sudo “3. Open a terminal and run /usr/bin/rss-glx_install.”
          and had to run it several times before euphoria screeensaver and the others showed up in the list on xscreensaver.
          Also xscreensaver deamon cannot be running when installing. It works on 32 and 64bit now on the newer iso cds 17 & 17.1.
