No official announcement from IgnorantGuru, but we can see a spate of activity this week, toward wrangling open issues
    https://github.com/IgnorantGuru/spacefm/pulse
and IgnorantGuru has created a “v1.0.6 milestone” and has assigned that label to select issue tickets:

That’s good to hear. I do like SpaceFM the best of all the Linux file managers out there that I’ve seen.

I found that the bug where SpaceFM resizes your columns all the time (every time you change directory) was identified in 2015 and only occurs when you use the GTK2 version. I deinstalled the GTK2 version and installed the GTK3 version and the columns now stay where I set them.

Is there a reason I should want to run the GTK2 version instead?

    Thanks for your post 🙂
