Hello, I am trying to use the static root persistence mode with the semi-automatic option but it does not ask me at the end of the session if I want to synchronize the changes to the pendrive. ¿why does it only work if it is loaded in ram?
the automatic, semi-auto, and manual options ONLY work with a RAM loaded persistence file. They control an rsync operation that syncs the file system in RAM to the persistence file on disk.
A static root persistence setup does not load the file system into RAM, so there is nothing to sync. the static persistence files are mounted and used directly, so no rsync is necessary.
