Forum for users of antiX Linux. Mean and Lean and Proudly anti-fascist.
I installed an upgrade and then it said the configuration file had been changed, and asked whether I wanted to accept the new config file or leave it as it is.
I asked to see the file. Then I couldn’t get back to accept or decline it. Now I’m stuck, and can’t logout. I’m frightened that if I just turn off the laptop I won’t be able to reboot.
I tried
sudo apt-get upgrade
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is held by process 4019 (apt-get)
N: Be aware that removing the lock file is not a solution and may break your system.
E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?
P.S I’m a computer half-dummy
