::Regarding the pandemic I don’t think that we have peaked in South Carolina.
Family members that are in the medical profession are telling us that they expect cases to reach their peak in mid to late May, later than the largest big cities and states that had more international travel at the time the virus reached the US.The states of New York and New Jersey by far have the most cases but the northern Midwest states of Michigan and Ohio have more cases (last time I checked) than the West Coast states, more than California and Washington for example.
Our hospital and medical offices are not very busy at all right now. Every day visits are handled mostly by phone or video chat with the facilities reserved for people who have a high level of health risks.

::Same down here in Georgia Brian. I am kind of leaning towards what you are hearing. It makes sense for the areas outside of the big cities. The time needed for the virus to make its way through the quieter areas from the more populated areas and then say “Hey ya’ll, i’m here!”
We outside of the big cities tend to get overlooked.

::Regarding claims on Wuhan Lab, A lab in usa was closed shortly before the Military games in Wuhan which was attended by usa. Outbreak in china could well have came with participants, timings are indicative that it would be feasible.
Pea brained politicians talking crap instead of immediately blocking ALL travel caused a local outbreak to become a world epidemic.
Major scandal is massive research in to Bio weapons, who leads in that and where is it done. Hundreds of Americans quickly left Wuhan at outbreak, who were they what were they doing.
Military and political doctrine could well have meant a lab doing dangerous research would be run in another country under Diplomatic cover, put results of accidents or experiments far from mainland and blame others for lunatic dreams…By the way stationing of nuclear and other weapons in Europe is not to give a deterrent, aim is to make an attack on us mainland less likely and or less effective. That is policy fact.

Shush! The Poles and the Ukrainians haven’t figured that one out yet, unlike Guam.
As Henry Kissinger said “America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests” but of course, Poland and Ukrains were part of the Soviet Union at the time and probably didn’t get to hear it.

In fact, as far as I am aware, NOBODY in this forum is a qualified medical expert, and Michael Moore is certainly not, so why are you giving just me the hard time? Oh yes, your anger management issues. Need I say any more?

::Here is the best information I know of for how every nation is doing with containing the covid-19 virus: covid trends. Of all the countries there which one do you think is the least prepared to lift lockdown restrictions?
In Denver Colorado health care workers peacefully blocked the anti-lockdown protest.
The utter evil of the people promoting these protests that will cost many lives in order to score political points and the vast stupidity and scientific and mathematical illiteracy of the people following them is the most depressing thing I’ve seen in many years.
The epidemics, lockdowns, and deaths in the US and Europe were completely unnecessary. I’ve been following this since early to mid January. The world’s best epidemiologists were predicting these epidemics in the US and Europe (and other parts of the world). It was completely obvious to those who were following the situation that the US and Europe needed to nip this problem in the bud and contain the virus before it spread. We had ample warning, and the tools such as test kits were readily available. This entire catastrophe was created by leaders (and the advisors they trusted) who were either too stupid or too scientifically and mathematically illiterate to comprehend the situation and its implications.
Also, regarding the “deep state” conspiracy theory. If the US and/or Europe are being run by a “deep state” then the deep state is just as stupid and illiterate as the elected leaders and is basically following the breathtakingly stupid policies of the elected leaders. If you look at the covid trends graph I link to above, you will see that some countries are doing much worse than others in containing the virus. It is not credible that the “deep state” matches the stupidity and anti-science BS of the leaders country by country. What’s the point of having a “deep state” the policies it implements exactly matches the stupid policies of the elected leaders?

::This is Dr John Ioannidis of Stanford University who has released the results of a serology study done on a sampling of Santa Clara County residents. He sat down with John Kirby from Journeyman Pictures to explain the results.
The study found that between 2.5% and 4.2% of residents have antibodies relating to Sars-Cov-2, a far greater percentage than ever previously thought, between 50 and 85 times higher than initial estimates.
This would mean that the infection-fatality ratio (IFR) of Covid19 has potentially been substantially overestimated and that it actually falls in line with seasonal influenza. (which many experts have previously suggested, and other studies have found).

::Anyone with some basic knowledge in mathematical modelling who had taken a look at the structure of the “Imperial College”-model would have noted the faults of this approach and its exaggerations. The model’s prognosis that the United Kingdom would have to count with more than half a million deaths and a complete overload of its health system reversed the British government’s earlier decision to use prudential surveillance and specifically targeted intervention and to shift to the full-control strategy, which required massive intervention into the public and private life of the nation. The leaders of other countries that were somewhat still in doubt jumped on the bandwagon and the march into a tyrannical State was programmed.
It was too late when the authors of the model finally revised their original estimate from 500 thousand to 20 thousand and later on lowered this number even more. The governments had already set into motion their emergency plans.
After declaring the coronavirus a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), agendas that had been prepared years ago were set into motion and the state agencies followed the procedures that were prescribed by the International Health Regulations (IHR) as the international legal instrument that is binding on 196 countries across the globe, including all the Member States of WHO.
Even now, months after the outbreak of the virus, the true size of the threat remains unclear. The quantitative basis is still too small to make a reliable projection.
If the modellers and the responsible government bodies had looked at the basic numbers instead of elaborating an apparently sophisticated model, they would have noticed that there has been no noticeable rise of the death rate. A look at the overall death statistics shows flat lines with fluctuations within its natural range. Even in Italy, there has not yet been a higher number of deaths than usual in the past couple of months. In absolute numbers, the death count is actually slightly down because of the seasonal factor that wintertime is over.

On just the same ground I dread government in the name of science. That is how tyrannies come in. In every age the men who want us under their thumb, if they have any sense, will put forward the particular pretension which the hopes and fears of that age render most potent. They ‘cash in’. It has been magic, it has been Christianity. Now it will certainly be science. Perhaps the real scientists may not think much of the tyrants’ ‘science’– they didn’t think much of Hitler’s racial theories or Stalin’s biology. But they can be muzzled.

::Facts about Covid-19
Overview
According to data from the best-studied countries such as South Korea, Iceland, Germany and Denmark, the overall lethality of Covid19 is between 0.1% and 0.4% and thus up to twenty times lower than initially assumed by the WHO.
A study in Nature Medicine comes to a similar conclusion even for the Chinese city of Wuhan. The initially significantly higher values for Wuhan were obtained because many people with only mild or no symptoms were not recorded.
50% to 80% of test-positive individuals remain symptom-free. Even among the 70 to 79 year old persons about 60% remain symptom-free, many more show only mild symptoms.
The median age of the deceased in most countries (including Italy) is over 80 years and only about 1% of the deceased had no serious previous illnesses. The age and risk profile of deaths thus essentially corresponds to normal mortality. Up to 60% of all Covid19-related deaths have occurred in particularly vulnerable nursing homes.
Many media reports of young and healthy people dying from Covid19 have proven to be false upon closer inspection. Many of these people either did not die from Covid19 or they in fact had serious preconditions (such as undiagnosed leukaemia).
Normal overall mortality in the US is about 8000 people per day, in Germany about 2600 people and in Italy about 1800 people per day. Influenza mortality in the US is up to 80,000, in Germany and Italy up to 25,000, and in Switzerland up to 1500 people per winter.
Strongly increased death rates, as in northern Italy, can be influenced by additional risk factors such as very high air pollution and microbial contamination as well as a collapse in the care of the elderly and sick due to mass panic and lockdown measures.
In countries such as Italy and Spain, and to some extent Great Britain and the US, a serious overload of hospitals, notably by the flu, is not unusual. In addition, up to 15% of doctors and nurses currently have to self-quarantine, even if they develop no symptoms.
An important distinction concerns the question of whether people die with or indeed from coronaviruses. Autopsies show that in many cases the previous illnesses were an important or decisive factor, but the official figures usually do not reflect this.
Thus in order to assess the danger of the disease, the key indicator is not the often mentioned number of test-positive persons and deceased, but the number of persons who actually and unexpectedly develop or die of pneumonia.
The often shown exponential curves of “corona cases” are misleading, since the number of tests also increases exponentially. In most countries, the ratio of positive tests to total tests either remains constant between 5% to 25% or increases rather slowly.
Countries without lockdowns and contact bans, such as Japan, South Korea and Sweden, have not experienced a more negative course of events than other countries. This might call into question the effectiveness of such far-reaching measures.
According to leading lung specialists, invasive ventilation of Covid19 patients is often counterproductive and causes additional damage to the lungs. The invasive ventilation of Covid19 patients is partly done out of fear of spreading the virus through aerosols.
Contrary to original assumptions, however, the WHO determined at the end of March that there is no evidence of aerosol dispersal of the virus. A leading German virologist also found no aerosol and no smear infections in a pilot study.
Many clinics in Europe and the US have been lacking patients and some have had to introduce short-time work. Numerous operations and therapies were cancelled by clinics, even emergency patients sometimes stay at home out of fear of the virus.
Several media have been caught trying to dramatize the situation in clinics, sometimes even with manipulative pictures and videos. In general, many media outlets do not question even doubtful official statements and figures.
The virus test kits used internationally are prone to errors. Several studies have shown that even normal corona viruses can give a false positive result. Moreover, the virus test currently in use has not been clinically validated due to time pressure.
Numerous internationally renowned experts from the fields of virology, immunology and epidemiology consider the measures taken to be counterproductive and recommend a rapid natural immunisation of the general population while protecting risk groups.
The number of people suffering from unemployment, psychological problems and domestic violence as a result of the measures taken has exploded in the US and worldwide. Several experts believe that the measures may claim more lives than the virus itself.
NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden warned that the corona crisis is used for the massive and permanent expansion of global surveillance. The renowned virologist Pablo Goldschmidt spoke of a “global media terror” and “totalitarian measures”. Leading British virologist Professor John Oxford spoke of a “media epidemic”.“These are the times that try men's souls" - Thomas Paine

As far as most of Europe is concerned that is not correct. Neither the advice of internal studies to needs in a Pandemic nor those of the WHO were or are followed.
In most EU countries proper protection for Health and care workers is still not available.
You are quoting death rates. Deaths in UK are only recorded as being from covid if positive tested and Hospital death involved. As appropriate testing is not being carried out the figures are falsified. deaths at home and in institutes and care homes are not included in figures to date, also those weakened by covid and dying of heart, kidney, liver or other indirect failure are left out.
You should perhaps also note most of the hospital deaths involve persons with Migration background or senior citizens. You can draw your own conclusions on why that is the case
and why it is likely to be wanted. That goes for USA too.Why do Bigoted stupid Racists want to lift lock downs. Of late in UK persons over 60 years old and suffering covid are sent home with a do not resuscitate order. Exceptions will be for VIP and rich persons, then comes the secret view of the probably white or Indian doctor issuing orders. Paki, send him home. Heś a black bstard, him too and so on.
Some Disabled are starving at home, persons in the evil called care homes and Psychiatric clinics even abandoned.
If you think covid is less of a killer than Flu go get it on purpose like the stupid leader of UK. It is a horrible way to die by suffocation. Low death rates in some country’s are due to isolation reducing totals by stopping the spring flu epidemic spread yearly by migrating birds returning from winter quarters.

It’s not what I think that matters. It’s what you refer to as “the stupid leader of UK” thinks that matters.
And you seem confused. The official leader of this country is the same woman it has been since I was two years old, Elisabeth II. I guess I had better explain why that is. As parliament is shut down for the duration the decisions taken will actually be made by The Privy Council.
And calling people rude names really does reveal how immature you are. Have you considered learning some manners?
