Hi, is it ok that after sudo life once, the password is remembered in the whole session and for all components? Now when I enter the password in the terminal, I can use all the tools in the GUI without entering the password anymore. I think this poses a danger

Hi, the password is/should-be remembered for 15 minutes only.
This has been repeatedly discussed in the forum elsewhere.
I occasionally find it convenient, sometimes a potentially dangerous but I was never bothered by it to learn to change it.

If you search the forum, it is likely (though no guarantees) that the steps needed to adjust it are mentioned there.

EDIT: A quick web-search revealed the following link https://vitux.com/how-to-specify-time-limit-for-a-sudo-session/

I used to question this idea of remembering sudo for 15 min in the past and set myself to 0. This would be the most secure. But over time I came back to 15 min for convenience and since I am running everything Live with no persistence it is no issue for me…
