Hello, everyone!
Whenever I go to Wikipedia, I can see the fonts of every other languages(Chinese, Arabic, etc) just fine, all except the Indic languages. So, when I want to edit some articles written in any Indic language, I have to go to my Windows PC. And this is not a browser-issue, since I’ve tried different browsers without any gain. I just want to know is there a way to add support for Indic languages on antiX?
Thank you!
sudo apt-get install fonts-indic
(optional) use lxappearance to choose one of the newly acquired fonts as your default desktop font
You may also need to edit your browser preferences to have it use a font which provides coverage of the indic characters.
Thanks, skidoo! That really helped! Now, I can view wikipedia in any of the Indic languages. Thanks a lot!
