      I tried my best to install this layout using the below commands but I failed.

      sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
      sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
      sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup

        You sure already tried the
        lxkeymap GUI
        Should be installed on base

          yes I did but because of fatigue I got confused with another keyboard next to my laptop that had a swiss layout while my laptop had a german layout. problem now is solved.
