macpup_529.iso downloadDingo had the pretty icewm default setup before they switched over to E17,
It packed a nice right hook on the jaw of low end gear. Very polished on a pentium2 with 256MB of ram. Not sure how it would rate today. I know the original developer is in Dallas Texas. It is discontinued/dead also. But a lot of meat in a 172MB download.Edit: I should mention the Opera Isos were pretty cool also.

::removed ELive (based on near EOL debian wheezy)
removed Dynebolic (based on near EOL debian wheezy) (future release purportedly will be based on Devuan)
removed Simplixiy Linux (site has been defunct since Feb2018)WindowMaker live ~~ I had booted it, confirmed it’s using sysV init.
LMDE 2 ~~ A month or so ago, Jessie Smith clued me in (pointed out it is still sysV init).
I had apparently misread Zereozero’s LMforum post(s) which were describing the LM main (18.2) Edition.
Well, I booted it and confirmed it’s using sysV init. I also noticed that it (at least the liveboot) uses passwordless sudo, ala Ubuntu.June 17, 2018 at 3:49 pm #10940Member

::skidoo – Simplicity is dead (under Puppy) and my guess is that the next LMDE will be based on systemd.
Elive is only sysvinit because it is wheezy based and I’m not sure if WM Live still uses sysvinit. I hope it does.Oh how the might Linux Mint [Main AND Debian Edition] has fallen! 🙁 LMDE used to be one of my favorite distro years ago when it was based on Debian Testing and not infested with systemd yet.
