antiX-19-legacy-bet2_386-base in Targa uses xserver-xorg-video-fbdev driver, so check at first that it is installed.
apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-video-fbdev
If fbdev driver is installed, you can make an /etc/X11/xorg.conf file like
sudo Xorg :1 -configure
sudo cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
gksu geany /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Replace driver in device section as vesa or fbdev
Thanks for your message.
I’ll try that tomorrow and get back to you.
