try this (I’m assuming you’re using rox-icewm (the antiX default):

        1. right-click on desktop to get the applications menu
        2. navigate to applications -> system tools -> icewmcc
        3. click button “show or hide taskbar”
        4. select “show taskbar” -> “ok”
        5. a pop-up window tells you to restart icewm
        6. right-click again to get your menu. navigate down to logout -> restart icewm.

This should do the trick. (otherwise provide more info on what your may have been doing to make it disappear…)

        Hope this helps.

I also stumbled upon use of a hot-key combo to toggle the taskbar on and off: Ctl-Alt-H

What have the Romans ever done for us?
Apart from: sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, fresh water, and public health?
