Before moving our latest build of connman 1.40 to the main repos, we need to make sure it works without issues.
We need testers running live/frugal and installed for 32 and 64 bit, for antiX-19, antiX-21(b), testing and sid users.
1. Temporarily, add dev to the antix.list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d eg for buster (antiX-19)
deb http://repo.antixlinux.com/buster buster main nonfree nosystemd devfor antiX-21
deb http://repo.antixlinux.com/bullseye bullseye main nonfree nosystemd dev2. Assuming connman is already installed – to get the latest (it will also install connman-iptables) simply
sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade3. Report here your findings, giving details of your antiX set up eg antiX-21-runit (32bit) frugal.
Hopefully, connman updates smoothly and the network works as before. Thanks

::The new connman fine for me on antiX-21b2 installed. Unrelated, I have to use kernel 4.9 as my Wifi doesn’t work in 5.10 unless I blacklist wl and modprobe b43 (or something like that — I did get it working but did not yet write down the steps and whatever I did broke the way 4.9 was working — they seem to need opposite configs. So I went back to 4.9 for now until I can do more investigation.

::Systems tested:
antiX-21b2-runit amd64 – installed. Works perfectly out of the box and gives me the impression it connects faster. No issues in my limited use.
antiX-19.X base amd63 – live + persistence. Installed OK, and no connection problems. Unfortunately, I already had the /etc/resolv.conf file pointing to /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf, so I don’t know if others pointing to /run/connman/resolv.conf will have issues after the update.
About connman 1.40 – Includes by default many fixes and improvements that were not present in 1.36.2, so it should be a recommended update.
I would advice to NOT include connman-1.40 in the main repo for antiX-19 (to avoid the problems I caused before) OR to remove the /etc/default/connman file from the .deb package (only for buster build).
If others have different experience in antiX 19, then ignore the above advise.

::Briefly tested antiX-21b2-runit amd64 – Frugal. Live should be the same:
No good.
Appears to work fine but checking Connman version after following anticapitalista directions it is still 1.36. Installed bunch of upgrades though from the added repo… Connamn was not among them.- This reply was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by olsztyn.

::@ModdIt – these debs do not have /etc/default/connman
You only need the connman-iptables one
Cd to wherever you download the deb to and then sudo apt install ./connman-iptables_1.40-1.0antix2_amd64.deb
Again, you might need a reboot.
