::Running Connman 1.40 now. CMST 2021.
All appeaars to be working with no issues seen so far…Running Coonman 1.40 and CMST 2021 full time now on clean Bullseye Runit Frugal and Live. No trace of any issues.
Conmann 1.40 becomes now full time operation in my day-to-day antiX.Live antiX Boot Options (Previously posted by Xecure):

::Up to now I have been unable to get the installed 19.4 system back to working wifi after the update to new connman version.
Same device,an EEPC with intel wifi card, not connecting to wifi with the Beta Bullseye
running live old or new connman.
Connman Error: agent failed before an answer was returnedThis is the device where on first antiX install I gave up and binned
the original broadcom adapter, replaced with intel after that it worked fine, until yesterdays

::Moddit, on the 19.4, what version of connman do you have installed?
apt policy connman-iptables
If running version 1.40-1.0antix1, do:
sudo ln -sf /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf
to restore to a working resolvconf configuration.
If running 1.40-1.0antix2
use antix-wifi-switch and re-select connman to restore the resolvconf configuration. /etc/resolv.conf should now point again to /run/connman/resolv.confOn the antiX 21 configuration, please share both
readlink /etc/resolv.conf
cat /etc/resolv.conf

::@xecure, thanks for assistance, will give your suggestions for 19.4 a go later, have to do some other things for a while.
Once this problem is figured out I will move the device to antiX 21 as it seems to boot faster with runit. Now have antiX 21 connecting with old Connman. Will change to new version again this evening.
As live I had rebooted without persistence to revert.
In this case I suspect that with a dozen routers shown mine was drowned out by crazy signal strength
from neighbours fritz box and repeaters. Will take netbook next to router in further tests.
Made no difference to 19.4.The eepc is an excellent testing device as it rarely works without some persuasion. :-;

::Another laptop with antiX19.4
apt policy connman-iptables connman-iptables: Installiert: 1.40-1.0antix1 Installationskandidat: 1.40-1.0antix1 Versionstabelle: *** 1.40-1.0antix1 500 500 http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/mx/antix/buster buster/dev amd64After installation couldn’t get connected, see picture
After the command
sudo ln -sf /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf
and reboot still the sameDeleting /etc/default/connman and reboot worked again here. Now it does work without problems.

::@all – thanks for the feedback.
Seems it is ok to put antiX-21 connman debs in main, but (at least for now) hold off on upgrading for antiX-19.Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

::hold off on upgrading for antiX-19.
thanks a relief, i was thinking of trying to pin connman until able to setup a stick with 21.
Need that as a backup in case upgrade should go wonky on some devices.Regarding my issue, I will attack that again tomorrow morning, I can see the card and devices,
the problem seems to be connect failing, maybe due routing, without dns there is no contact to
the router..October 30, 2021 at 10:51 am #69786Member

::I agree that better not include it in the main antix-19 repos. If one wants to use it in antiX 19, to enable the dev repo and request for support here on the forums if they are having issues.
Thanks for the new version of connman, anticapitalista 🙂

::Would have like to say I found the problem with network on my EEpc.
I think/hope it will be a one off issue that is so severe. That device is as I have said before a diva.
It is running Beta 2 Bullseye Runit, still without the connman update, will see if the Bullseye runs ok then
give that a go tomorrow evening.October 31, 2021 at 10:36 am #69830MemberModdIt
::Ran a freshly downloaded checked and installed Bullseye Beta for some hours, this on the EEPC,
wifi fine connected immediately, stayed ok after rebooting several times..Kernel tried both
Upgraded to new connman immediately no wifi.
Reboot, no wifi
Deleting /etc/default/connman and reboot no wifi
Booted alternative kernel no wifi

Alternative claims my key is invalid. It is same as when wifi worked.- This reply was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by ModdIt.

::@Moddit
What version of antiX bullseye? 64 or 32 bits? b1 or b2? runit or sysvinit?Upgraded to new connman immediately no wifi.
Reboot, no wifiIs this both cmst and connman update? Or only connman? How do you connect to your access point? Through cmst or through connmanctlÂż
As we don’t know what version of antiX21, we also don’t know if you checked if the service was running or if it installed properly. Please give more details on your specific system (if possible, also the apt policy versions of cmst and connman once installed) so we can see if this is due to connman’s service not starting, not installing in the correct place, or related to the method you use to connect to your wireless access point.antiX Live system enthusiast.

::@xecure, Sorry was in a rush this morning. Spent way too much time trying to figure out
what is wrong.Trying to behave like a new user.
I downloaded following the announcement link for beta 2 from anticapitalistaInstalled to stick and tested live, wifi worked, did a full upgrade, wifi still working.
Installed to SDD internal, rebooted, wifi ok.
added dev to antix testing sources
did full-upgrade that included connman could no longer connect to wifi.I can see my access point alomg with others in connman system tray window,
select my router and try to connect, now failing.
Service manager tells me connman is running
I opened setup window from the control center, wifi is on and powered, not blocked
by my hardware switch, tested by switching on and off. My signal strength is high
enough, over 50%. Before connman update stability and speed were fine.Interesting is I am shown my actual wifi password in clear text as old passphrase.
Where is the password stored by connman I want to delete it and try again from scratch.
