xserver-xorg-core is already the newest version (2:1.20.3-1.0nosystemd1).
      xserver-xorg-core set to manually installed.

        libicu-le-hb0 libicu60

As far as I can tell some upgrade conflicts with eudev and has “other” dependencies for which “systemd-must-die” can not tolerate.
I am searching one by one the upgradeables list to see which is the culprit but I wonder whether someone may be aware of what it is already/

I suspect it is policykit1 and libpolkit that seem to be coming from debian replacing antix versions.
I don’t have held pkgs. So I locked them and did the rest, now I have:

        % sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
        Reading package lists... Done
        Building dependency tree
        Reading state information... Done

I sent nosystemd versions of polickykit-1 to the repos (sid) and have asked our repo manager to move them to testing as well.
