      I supported Puppy Linux for a long time because it allows the use of really old computers. Recently they seem to be suffering from attitude calcification. I just tried AntiX on a Dell Inspiron 2200. That’s a single-core Pentium M laptop. I’m impressed with how well it works. Given the refreshing difference, I’m glad AntiX is available. Thanks!

        Just wanted to chime in as well! antiX breathed new life into a couple of my old computers recently (a pentium2 and an old ~2008 netbook). I did try puppy, but it wouldn’t even boot up on the PII system. There are older puppy linux versions out there that could work, but I like being able to running the latest kernel with all the patches and a functioning GUI.
