      Hi,

Thank You for this distro. I am from Germany, hate windows because of its commercial attitude, leeding to the lowest niveau of users and never ending updates you cannot escape from. Using linux since years I spent a long time seeking a lightweight distro to have a fast working machine in my lenovo thinkpad R 61. Here I found it. I have all the codices, I have my beloved seymonkey. Without any problem I could install even my 32 bit application finereader 5. Without any stress I could install my wifi network. This especially was a hard work on debian or Mint.

There ist just one problem for the moment: Is it possible to have more than 2 workspaces? And how can I change the wallpaper (railwaystation) before and shortly after login?

Please apologize if I missed the answer in the Forum, I seeked for some time and did no t find any.

Howdy and Welcome. Go to Menu > AntiX control Center > Open it.

Edit whatever Window Manager you are in by hand. Post a inxi -Fxz

so members can answer with better details on your toolbar edit.

You can change the wallpaper via the control centre > Desktop > Choose wallpaper
For at login Control centre > Session > Change slim background

You can add extra workspaces (4 in this example) for jwm by adding this to the prferences file in via Control centre > > Desktop > Edit jwm settings

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Hi Bohuslav, remember that the antiX-Faq is an important resource that can help you in the system’s configuring and to solve problems:
              http://download.tuxfamily.org/antix/docs-antiX-17/FAQ/index.html
In the antiX-Faq you can find a chapter on jwm where, among different topics, it also explains how to increase the workspaces

Hi both of You and thanks:

                anticapitalista:
Wallpaper was not the probem, but many thanks for the hint to change the slim background.

                Spartak77:
For IceWM this is no problem, but I did not find anything about workspaces in the jvm configurating tools.

                  Hi a second time:

Now I found it. I had to change the number of “desktops”, found that on another place. Sorry I looked just for “workspaces”.
