      Bonjour oops,

      Hello oops,

I am also in France and the link given in your 1st message works very well for me.
Browser Palemoon 28.15.0 (yes I know it’s almost antediluvian :-)).
I don’t add much to the subject: except the geographical position.

      Peace and friendship.

      I am near Nantes @rantanplan.

… I have changed the DNS of my FreeBox (to openDNS) to see.
(due to sometime to some problems of my operator Free : https://www.universfreebox.com/article/37605/Tuto-Changez-les-DNS-de-votre-connexion-Free-pour-pouvoir-continuer-a-surfer-en-cas-de-probleme.)

          To OpenDNS
          DNS Primaire : 208.67.222.222
          DNS Secondaire : 208.67.220.220

Then tested my DNS here: https://www.top10vpn.com/tools/what-is-my-dns-server/

It seems faster, but I have the same result as before for this site (https://forum.mxlinux.org/ – MX Linux Forum.)
          Strange.

Respectfully I suggest the problem is either on your system or in your region.
I even used the link you provide, and it works fine here; I’m on a SLOWER system now, and yet it STILL came up, not as fast as on my newer system, but it worked. As mentioned earlier, I’ve checked several of the MX Linux sites – the blog, the forum and the main page; they all work fine. I also navigated through several random forum posts and the support link; they ALL work fine here.

… It seems it is my area (free provider here) … I will wait.

              EDIT:
It is not the DNS, I entered directly the ipv4 of forum.mxlinux.org into the web browser : 67.222.30.147 … and does not work too (I am black listed … lol )

              dig a forum.mxlinux.org

Yeah, I only know a few words, but I translated the content in the link, and my suspicions were confirmed: nothing wrong with MX Linux or their Web pages; the problem is isolated to your area today. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!

                  … Have you the same @IPv4: 67.222.30.147 ?

                  No pong here.

works on my MX Desktop landline right now. I am on my Movie Desktop computer since wife is off today and has kidnapped the remote.

Maybe brian can tell you about his wireless antiX box. NO MX links problem on this box either.

Yes, these days I have ONLY wireless; I cannot find a site anywhere nearby that offers any direct, plugin Ethernet service, so WiFi is a MUST; fortunately it works, and as I noted before, ALL of the MX Linux sites are working and they respond faster than this forum every time I visit, including just now.

By the way, both my laptops AND my desktop require wireless; the old HP (Compaq rebrand) 2510 has a black plastic WiFi antenna, provided by HP. My other systems have wireless cards that work.

Thank you for trying … but I can’t do anything more, just wait now (or use a VPN for the MX forum 😉
I have to try with the WIFI too.
                          Thx.

                            hello oops
sorry about your lack of connection to MXforum.
https versus http; can you navigate to http://forum.mxlinux.org/ ?
                            Without the “s” ? or forum.mxlinux.org/ ?
in USA our locale, we get either.
We will not let you miss anything. we can pass along any exciting mx stuff until you get connected again.

                            Mister Brian, wireless only.
Range extender. we have had the same situation as yours, with wireless only.
Instead of “what is the best dongle” we got wireless range-extender routers. Now the old computers can ethernet into the extender router with a eth cable. The extender cabled has helped to doctor the circumstances of ill wireless.

Tried too, but no responses yet (web browsers and/or ping) with: https://forum.mxlinux.org/ nor http://forum.mxlinux.org/ nor 67.222.30.147

I don’t know what else is left; I hope Jerry’s idea helps.

It certainly isn’t the MX sites; they work but maybe some other provisions are necessary; hope the suggestion helps.
