Hello, I noticed that my antiX system is not producing the usual logs in /var/log/, for example of user logins and logouts, device insertions and removals, filesystem mounts and unmounts, etc. that one would normally expect a Linux system to be logging. The files that would usually have logs in them exist, such as /var/log/messages, but running cat on the files reveals that they are empty. It produces the dmesg logs for /var/log/dmesg on bootup, but after the boot it does not populate any of the other logs. I thought that the antiX people should be aware of this because not having logging capabilities is a pretty big deal. I’m running a nearly clean install of the x86_64 version of Grup Yorum. It’s a sysvinit system.
