Apologies if this is the wrong place to post issues with this site but there does not seem to be a forum dedicated to site issues.

Firstly, my environment which is a late 2013 iMac running Sierra (10.12.6), 3.5Ghz Core i7, 16GB ram. I am writing this using Safari 10.11 (not my choice but this site also has issues with the Tor Browser (see issue #2).

Issue #1: I was composing reply #5 to the thread Update: Some packages could not be installed. I clicked on the ‘Submit’ button and I wanted to clarify a point and clicked ‘Edit’, I changed my mind and clicked on ‘Submit’ again. At which point, the entire post #5 disappeared. After having many issues with many sites, I have learned to copy the text to the clipboard before submitting it. I re-inserted the text, clicked ‘Submit’ and was told that this was a duplicate even though post #5 text was not visible. Now, the thread stats show five posts even though there are only four and my post is not present and I cannot add it.

Issue #2: I regularly use the Tor browser to preserve my privacy. This site is not Tor friendly at all. Twice now I have been working away on this site and a full page appears with the title ‘Your access to this site has been limited (HTTP code 503) based on the ‘Wordfence advanced policy rules’ (see ‘jpg’ attachment). This page replaces any page I have been working on and too bad for me if I was writing something because now it’s gone. Note that it happened again when I clicked ‘Edit’ to add the ‘jpg’.

Update: I have learned some more about issue/bug #1. I can force this site to accept the updated post by changing the subject line. I just accidentally found that when post #1 of this thread also disappeared after editing. I can use this same technique on my post #5 which the forum stats show as present but there is no corresponding post available. This site also shows that I was the last person to modify the thread (which is also wrong), but I want the forum admin to see the issue first.

Issue 1 . I marked as not spam. So it should be fixed.
Issue 2. Use another browser on this site instead of Tor or try using a User Agent switcher as a experiment. I don’t Tor anymore. I considered it a waste of time for me personally.
