Out of nowhere Thunderbird will not run at all, and gives the error in the screenshot – the message is an image and it can’t be copy/pasted. The system and all packages are up to date, and the machine rebooted. System info attached. It’s a very old computer – too old?

I just searched on-line for that error and I noticed that was reported years ago, on Windows: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1684008

It’s not an antiX problem, it’s a Thunderbird problem. The solution found on that thread was running, on the Terminal:
        thunderbird -ProfileManager
and select the “Default” profile on the GUI window that pops up…

        I hope that helps

@PPC – thank you so much, that was magic. Some corruption or other in the profile, it set up a new Default one and all is perfect.
