      The single thing I dislike in IceWM is that I found no way to configure it to open new windows in the center of the screen, instead of in random places somewhere- it stands to reason that’s where most non stacking window managers like to see new windows be default…

      Edit: see the second post, where it’s shown how to center Large Windows, on IceWM.

      I took a look around the manual, and found no option for that (maybe I should ask for that new feature, in it’s git?), but I found the second best thing:
      Edit Icewm’s “preferences” config file (you can reach it in antiX menu > Control Centre > ..IceWM…> “Preferences” tab) and make sure it has this line:
      SmartPlacement=0

      Save the change and restart IceWM.

      Now, every new window will open, not on a random place, but right below the end of the previous window title bar- much nicer standard, in my humble opinion…

          No, I missed that! Many thanks!
          With both this settings, finally IceWM acts just the way I want! 🙂

          I’ll update the Original Post and title, so this info is easier to find!!!
