On machines running antiX17 with the testing repos, today’s update remove the consolekit package. However, without it the Xserver doesn’t start.
So, I had to reinstall the package to get the GUI sessin started. Had this problem about 6 hours ago, so I don”t know whether it is solved already.

New nosystemd udisks2 should appear in the repos soon and this should *fix* this issue

But X does work without consolekit and some WM like openbox, jwm, flux, possibly others do work without it.
It took me a while to figure it out and why I thought I had to have it but it works. Udisks2 was among the things that had to go bye bye.anti-X - Adélie - obarun - systemd Free Space

The slim login manager used on antiX needs consolekit, otherwise it will not boot to desktop (X)
