Forum › Forums › New users › New Users and General Questions › Toolbar – move 'show desktop' icon
Greetings!
This is my 4th try installing Antix in a Virtualbox and getting everything working the way I’d like it (fyi: I currently use MXLinux on one of my production PCs).
I’m going slowly, and so far have figured out most things. However, I can’t figure out how to move the ‘show desktop’ icon on the toolbar from its present location. Seems like the logical place to do this would be while editing iceWM toolbar settings, but I’m not seeing how/where to accomplish this.
Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks.

Hi kevtardis, you can find the ShowDesktopButton in /.icewm/preferences
under Task Bar Settings
It’s possible to let it show with 1 or hide it with 0
If it’s possible to move, I don’t think so.
Thanks for the quick response caprea.
I found the setting you referenced and can confirm it works as advertised on my machine.
I’ll wait a bit to see if anyone knows of a way to move the icon before marking this solved.
