Tried antiX-19_x64-base – Looks good

Tried antiX-19_x64-base, looks great. Very impressed by speed and small footprint in ram. I wasn’t able to setup a WiFi connection. Also I couldn’t get to grips with the persistent USB creation process. I’m sure both work just fine, some studying will get me over both hurdles. I guess I’m still a noob, been using Mint for the past 22 months, Fedora for 3 months before that. As Arnie says.. “I’ll be back”

Glad you made it, and yes, I think after reading and then experimenting a few times, I think that you will become familiar with antiX and hopefully you will enjoy it enough to become a favorite; I certainly did once I used the handy tools to get everything to work just the way I prefer.

I get in a zone once in while. My keyboard skill set. Little as it is . Plus my thought processes. Just disappear .

Spell check, lots of back spacing and correction from missed key strokes. To do on every post I do on laptop computers. Desktop keyboards. I have better luck.

Edit: I abhor having to text on phones. Wife and Sis torture me.

That’s quite alright roki! Just messing with you!

I have to turn off my touchpad synclient; otherwise my cursor jumps all over the place and I’m typing on another line when I am using my laptop. (That’s my “geek excuse!)

We’re always trying to encourage others. As for Roki and me, we’ve been in these forums for years and we’ve learned a lot. Typing through a phone interface can be a big problem. Sometimes the programs on those things actually change the words and the entire context of what you are typing, so it’s really good to be in this forum today while actively using antiX!
