Hi,
I’m new to Antix, I’m havin trouble creating my live usb with persistence.
I have made a live usb key running Antix full 64 bit, and now I’m tryin to make a persistent key with the live-usb maker tool.
First issue
———–
That tool is bugged when i launch Antix with French as my language option at boot. Here is a screenshot :

So you see the window is kind of a mess.
I have no pb when I boot from English however, so I boot with default options, I create my live persistent encrypted usb key and everything runs fine.
But when booting my key …
Second issue
————
Whatever option I choose from the grub menu -even failsafe, I always get the same message :error: no suitable video mode found
Booting in blind modeand it wont boot my key.
So I don’t know what to do now. Any help is welcome …
Just wondering too : is it possible to create my persistent encrypted key without live-usb maker, directly from Antix boot menu ?
Thx

Concerning Live USB Maker GUI, there was a bug I have transmitted to D_O via MX Forum. He said he corrected the issue. If he comes through here he will understand.

::Yes, do a dist-upgrade to get the latest fixed version
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

::Finally concerning the second issue I found I just have to type the ‘exit’ command in Grub and it gets me to the antiX bootloader.
Same issue with MX linux. Actually I think this has to do with my laptop harddrive being near to dead (according to smart)
Still I have to find a way to repair that boot one dayThanks for ur help
