      When I try and install the package I get:

      devel@antix1:~$ sudo apt-get install tftpd-hpa

      I have tried dpkg –reconfigure, uninstalling the package and reinstalling.

      Has anyone seen this problem before. I am running antiX 17.4.1 i386

        you could try renaming the /srv/tftp directory and reinstalling the
        package.

        something like in the terminal.
        sudo mv -R /srv/tftp /srv/tftpold
        that way you can name it back if doesn’t work.

          I tried removing the directory and the user it creates (tftpd), but I get the same result.

            not sure, maybe others have an idea. I’m not on 17.4.1-386 today to test it out.
            are you using full or base?
