There’s one more thing I can think of you could try lately,
Create by booting with the live-stick with gparted a little partion directly at the beginning of the hard disk as a bootpartition. Maybe 500 MB – 1 GB.Then click on partition—edit marking and mark the partition as boot.
Then you have to repeat the above procedure, install antix on the second partition and so on.
Same commands as above only you also have to mount the bootpartion before chrooting
sudo mount /dev/sdXX /mnt/boot
Whereby the placeholders XX stand for sda1 or whatever, also remember you maybe have to change the first command from above to sda2 or whatever.
On the other hand it’s maybe time to look if the flash card is in good condition.Did you already?
