      Hello all,

      I’m trying to install Virtual Box 5.2 to game on Windows XP with 3D acceleration properly enabled, but I get these dependancy errors

      “See attached file”

      How do I resolve this?

        It looks like you downloaded the .deb file. The .deb file is for stretch (antiX 17). Are you using a different version of antiX (other than 17)?

            Right. Virtualbox 5.2 won’t work on antiX 19.
            antiX 19 can use Virtualbox 6.1, on 64-bit only, however.

            But Virtualbox 5.2 will work well on antiX 17.x, 32-bit or 64-bit.
            So, perhaps a live-usb with antiX 17.4.1 & virtualbox 5.2 might suit your needs. If that’s the version of virtualbox you absolutely need.

            I just made one & installed the program, just to test it out. (I hate to give bad/outdated advice.) 🙂

                As your OS is 64 bits, install the 64 bits version Virtualbox 5.2.
                I will test it out to see if it installs in antiX 19.4 in a VM (inception) and let you know if it is possible.

                EDIT: Removed the link to VB website (doesn’t install in antiX 19). I tried with the one on MX repo but doesn’t work either. No luck except if you can rebuild from source.
