Tagged: dropbox
I just installed AntiX 4.9 and the headless install of DropBox. Immediately after installing DropBox, DropBox appeared to work normally; the DropBox icon appeared on the taskbar, all my files synced onto the AntiX machine. All looked well. Then the next day (without any reboots), I noticed the DropBox icon missing from the task bar. Running the task manager, it appears that DropBox is not running.
I made the changes as described in this forum post: https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/auto-start-dropbox/
This does not work. In fact, typing Dropbox --help from inside a terminal session produces “dropbox: command not found”
I’m new to Linux and very new to AntiX. Not sure what to do at this point. Looking for advice.
Well, verify that dropbox is installed. It has happened to me before. just reinstall dropbox.
