Hiyall,
I’m trying to uninstall a program and get the attached.
Please help.

Don’t login as root; login as a regular user, e.g. peter, lini, demo, etc.
Then if a command requires specific privileges, the correct behavior would be for the command to request the desired admin/root password.
Running as root is rarely a good idea, unless you are truly an expert; if you have to ask questions like this, it appears that you have novice skills.

Brian,
I agree with you. How do I login in as Peter as I thought that’s exactly what I was doing?

Restart your system. Notice what happens when you boot. It will usually ask for your username. That’s when you put in peter.

The OP is running in circles. This is like their FOURTH topic concerning essentially the same error.

Peter Linu, noticing same and related issues across multiple discussion topics, seems obvious that your system is damaged. Reinstallation of the operating system may be the wisest course of action at this point.
Hiyall,
A friend explained to me what that setting meant. I reinstalled NOT activating root, and all is now good with the install.
