With antix linux 21 , I found it is always the case that we have to add startup service manually. With VScode, it cannot get connected/authenticated with github account automatically, does anyone knows how to fix this?

'Unknown or unsupported transport “disabled” for address “disabled:”'.
There is an vscode official guideline for this bug however, I still cannot find a good fix for this:

The following two pointers show that this could be an issue with dbus-launch service and gnome-keyring, any way I can make sure that dbus-launch is working properly with VScode.

      `$ echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP
      lsb_release -a
      grep -rn ‘^\s*deb ‘ –include ‘*.list’ /etc/apt/
      icewm

      Description: Debian GNU/Linux bookworm/sid
      Release: 11-updates
      Codename: n/a

        It worth a try.

        control-centre > session > User Desktop-Session
        Go to the tab “desktop-session.conf”
        Look for this section
        #Session load of dbus-launch
#This will make it possible to start a session bus instance of dbus-daemon with the window manager
        #Options: true | false
        DBUS_SESSION_LAUNCH=”false”

        Set it to true.
        DBUS_SESSION_LAUNCH=”true”

        Might it’s also needed to
        Go to the tab “startup”
        Look for
        ## Use pkexec (you need to install policykit-1-gnome)
        #/usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 &
        comment out the second line
        ## Use pkexec (you need to install policykit-1-gnome)
        /usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 &

        You have to install
        policykit-1-gnome

          Still no luck.

          1. I installed policykit-1-gnome
          2. Edited desktop-session.conf tab
          3. Edited startup tab

While the error message stays the same.

            Please another try
            sudo apt install gnome-keyring
Then open VS from terminal with
            dbus-launch /usr/share/code/code --unity-launch

              You are professional!

              Yes, I have installed gnome-keyring,
              dbus-launch /usr/share/code/code --unity-launch

After using dbus-launch to launch the VS code, the error message I got is different from what I have got previously, now the error message becomes

Writing login information to the keychain failed with error 'Error calling StartServiceByName for org.freedesktop.secrets: Timeout was reached'.

              1. Does this mean my dbus-launch is not starting as a service on the first step?
              2. Any hints on how to fix this new error?
‘Error calling StartServiceByName for org.freedesktop.secrets: Timeout was reached’.`
