I’m running 19.3 on a 2006 iMac. Want to upgrade to 19.4. I did so successfully with MX linux on another machine, using apt dist-upgrade. But that does not seem to work with AntiX. Any pointers? Apologies for the basic nature of the q.

Doing apt dist-upgrade will basically get to 19.4.
antiX policy is NOT to update /etc/antix-version.
We want to know the original install version if seeking support.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

What does sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade show?

You should also update the kernel either using synaptic, package installer or cli-aptiX.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
