Hello,
I am in a respin I did and the linux kernel used is the 5.2.15-antix.1-486-smp
Here are the modules related to USB which I loaded manually plus the modules loaded by default in the kernel:
$ grep HCI_HCD config-5.2.15-antix.1-486-smp
CONFIG_USB_XHCI_HCD=y
CONFIG_USB_EHCI_HCD=y
CONFIG_USB_EHCI_HCD_PLATFORM=m
CONFIG_USB_OHCI_HCD=y
CONFIG_USB_OHCI_HCD_PCI=y
CONFIG_USB_OHCI_HCD_PLATFORM=y
CONFIG_USB_UHCI_HCD=y
CONFIG_USB_WHCI_HCD=m
CONFIG_USBIP_VHCI_HCD=m(if someone wonders : each lines ending with “y” is compiled in the kernel, the ones ending with “m” are selected but not activated unless loaded from the /etc/modules or manually loaded).
$ sudo modprobe vhci-hcd
$ sudo lsmod | grep hci
vhci_hcd 24576 0
usbip_core 16384 1 vhci_hcd
whci_hcd 32768 0
whci 16384 1 whci_hcd
umc 16384 2 whci_hcd,whci
wusbcore 36864 1 whci_hcd
uwb 65536 2 whci_hcd,wusbcoreWhat I have:
$ lspci | grep USB
00:02.0 USB controller: NVIDIA Corporation MCP61 USB 1.1 Controller (rev a3)
00:02.1 USB controller: NVIDIA Corporation MCP61 USB 2.0 Controller (rev a3)
03:00.0 USB controller: Renesas Technology Corp. uPD720202 USB 3.0 Host Controller (rev 02)
$so this is “Renesas Technology Corp. uPD720202 USB 3.0 Host Controller” which I added in my desktop computer.
In the current antiX editions, are you able to use an additional USB 3 PCI device?
How can I get this respin install to see the usb devices connected to my USB 3 PCI card?
Thanks for your help!
