      Hi
Since the latest Antix goodies update, nothing happens anymore when clicking on the “unplug removable drive” icon placed at the lest of the toolbar.
This was a very useful tool when working with USB pens.
Any idea to restore this toolbar function ?
      Many thanks

Edit the toolbar file in ~/.icewm/toolbar so that the command to launch the program is now
        gksudo unplugdrive.sh
Restart icewm and it should now work.

I’ve found a solution and I’m very happy to tell you how to fix this problem:
Go to Control Center, Desktop section, Icewm Setup option. In the text editor choose the “toolbar” tab.
In the text file, replace the line :
prog “Unplug the removable drive” /usr/share/icons/papirus-antix/48×48/devices/drive-removable-media-usb.png unplugdrive.sh
          by:
          prog “Unplug the removable drive” /usr/share/icons/papirus-antix/48×48/devices/drive-removable-media-usb.png su-to-root -X -c unplugdrive.sh

And after relaunch of the session, clicking the toolbar icon should again work as previously.
I guess the unplugdrive.sh needs root privileges now.
I suggest this be corrected in a new update of the Icewm toolbar file.
Hope this will help people experiencing same problem after the latest goodies update.
Big thanks anyhow to all people maintaining this wonderful OS.

Sorry Xecure. You answer came while I wrote mine. Thanks for your solution which should work as well.

              su-to-root -X -c <command>

FYI: on an antiX system, “su-to-root -X -c” does call gksudo (which is a symlink pointing to the “gksu” command).

Each of these will yield an identical result:
              su-to-root -X -c unplugdrive.sh
              gksudo unplugdrive.sh
              gksu unplugdrive.sh
