      Hello!
      Have a little problem with antix.
      I’m trying to use Discord. Sound-Out works perfectly. But for the microphone I can only use “default”.

      Where the hell can I switch the “default” microphone to my USB-device?

      In system settings I found an option to switch the sound device. After switching to the USB-device there is of course no more sound-out, because it’s a microphone 😉

      So, HOW to use the internal soundcard for sound output and the USB microphone for sound input???

        ALSA doesn’t have an easy gui way to do what you want, unfortunately. You can

        A) Install and use pulseaudio (with pavucontrol) as audio manager.

        B) Set up the .asound.conf file for this specific case.

        For B, you will need to:
        1. Determine the card number of the output device. you can see the card number with
        aplay -l
        Example: My output device is card 0

        $ aplay -l
        **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
        card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC269VB Analog [ALC269VB Analog]

        2. Determine the card number of the input device (in your case, the USB microphone).
        arecord -l
        Example: Card 1 is a USB microphone.

        $ arecord -l
        **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
        card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC269VB Analog [ALC269VB Analog]
          Subdevices: 1/1
          Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
        card 1: USB Microphone (virtual)
          Subdevices: 1/1
          Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

        3. Create a user alsa sound configuration file
        touch $HOME/.asound.conf

        4. Edit the alsa sound configuration file to reflect the input and output card numbers.
        xdg-open $HOME/.asound.conf
        Following the example of input (capture) is card 1 and output (playback) is card 0, it would look like this:

        pcm.!default {
          type asym
          playback.pcm "plughw:0"
          capture.pcm "plughw:1"
        }
        ctl.default {
          type hw
          card 1
        }
