To publish video on https://antixlinux.com/video-tutorials/, you could use Peetube instead or youtube. Peetube is a decentralized video publishing platform made with free software.

I voted yes which was not really correct, poll needed a third choice,

    in addition to You tube.

Reason being this is the first time I ever heard of Peertube and I am sure I am not alone in that respect.
To reach a wider audience all possible legitimate channels should be populated.

I said NO. But I had to make some assumptions. One was that this was a question. It was not formatted as a question. Second, that it was asking if I use Peertube instead of Youtube. No, I don’t.

Why don’t you ask if others use something other than YouTube, such as Peertube, or some other option?

And what will you learn from this poll? I’ve never even heard of Peertube. Is that what you wanted to know? I think your poll needs work.

If we better understand Peertube it may help.

I’m not inclined to access a site without a clear description of the tool, ideas, software or whatever it is.

Since I have never heard of it, please share details, otherwise I will treat it as a scam.

please take a look before condemning a project. It is really near to Antix Philosophy.

Registration is intended to make a system takedown by ddos much less likely, not to track users. This is a distributed network, Software is all Open and community driven. It has some pretty interesting technology to prevent censorship, increase network stability and the philosophy very much an antithesis to you tube.
    Not censored by google.

I was irritated about registration too but now accept the reasoning, where it is neccesary.

I was also easily able to watch some very interesting videos using TOR without any need to login or register.

The project is well known and respected in France. No Ads No Bullshit.

After taking a long hard look at the way this system works “We” the Moddits will use and support it.

    Quote from Wikipedia:
PeerTube uses WebTorrent technology. Each server hosts a torrent tracker and each web browser viewing a video also shares it. This allows to share the load between the server itself and the clients as well as the bandwidth used through P2P technology.

The system works via a federation of instances run by independent entities. Each PeerTube server can host any number of videos by itself, and can additionally federate with other servers to let users watch their videos in the same user interface. This federation permits collectively hosting a large number of videos in a unified platform, without having to build an infrastructure comparable to that of the web giants. Each server is operated by and stays under the sole administration of a distinct entity.

PeerTube uses the ActivityPub protocol in order to allow decentralization and compatibility with other fediverse services, which can prevent vendor lock-in and makes it more resilient against censorship.[14][15]

The software relies on the PostgreSQL DBMS and is integrated in popular video platforms like Reddit[16] and Kodi.[17]
