      Hi,

In the past few weeks, I have noticed that after submitting a post, there is a long gap of several minutes before the post is “accepted”.

Since I run Sid, I am uncertain if it is the result of a bug in a recent full-upgrade or whether it has been noticed by other posters.

There is no delay in launching posts to read them.

I see it also. When I submit a post, there is a long delay. I open up another tab and enter the antixforum, and see that my post is already up. But the original tab still has the delay.

I’m seeing this too. One day it was working well; now the problem has been continuing for nearly the entire week, probably most of the past few weeks.

It was fairly late in the evening where I live (between 9 PM and midnight) so it was very early morning or near the end of the night antiX time when the response was good. Not sure where the server is located; if it’s in the USA most people were either relaxing or sleeping.

Very slow for me all the time, sometimes I end up double posting because it times out and I am forced to refresh.
Noticed that you can click submit and almost immediately the stop button on the browser, then the reload button and the post will be there as well as the text in the reply box. I think it is waiting for validation from the cleantalks system for spam filtering; however I have not done any network sniffing / website diagnostics to verify

That one went well too; using Firefox Nightly, and I did close one tab on a previous antiX Forum post and open another one.
Ever since then, response has been good; makes me wonder if adding or switching antiX Forum tabs causes any change in the behavior; crazier things have happened!
