After installing Antix23, I’ve got strange network anomaly that I didn’t have with “21”.
I use a wired connection (eth0) with static ip and nameservers via stubby.I now have another wired entry (veth61b54f8) appearing in connman that seems to be related to docker (I run a Jellyfin server on this machine).
This new entry interferes with my eth0 as it wants to be the default wired connection. I have to open conman after every reboot, set it to not auto connect , open a terminal, take it down via ifconfig and then do the same with eth0. Finally I bring eth0 back up and it works.
The Jellyfin server seems unaffected by disabling veth611b54f8.
Any ideas on how to keep this from interfering with eth0?
As always, I am very appreciative of your suggestions.

::If you don’t want connman to run, disable it via runit-service-manager.sh
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

::As anticapitalista said, if you are setting up your connection with ethernet only, switch to ceni and disable connman.
If running antiX 23 full, use the antix wifi switcher (though it has this name, it switches network managers from/to connman/ceni)
sudo antix-wifi-switch --cli ceni
After this you should also be able to remove connman if you don’t need it.

::Using ceni seems to have corrected the issue.
I do miss the connman tray icon but it’s better to not have to fiddle with the internet every time I reboot.
Thanks again to both of you for the quick help …
