Hello,
I installed the virtualbox additions but they don’t work (impossible to have the screen resize for example). When I install the additions, I am told that there are already installed in the system, but it is impossible to find the package and especially the vbox services does not run. So I reinstalled the additions, after restarting the computer, the services runs but does not work (I can’t resize the screen or share clipboard).
I have tried many different methods found on the forums but none of them work, so I would like to know if I have missed any information to solve my problem or if it is a known bug.
Among the methods I tested, I uninstalled everything related to virtualbox by doing “sudo apt uninstall virtualbox-*” before reinstalling the additions, I tried to create a new user because some people solved the problem like that, I tried to install the additions from apt but it did not work either.
You need to give us details to get help.
Which version of antiX?
Which version of Virtualbox?
How did you install Virtualbox?

Sorry, I didn’t think of that!
I’m using AntiX 22 x64 with the base version (it’s up to date because it’s just installed) and virtualbox 7.0.4 r154605 which runs on windows 10.
I can confirm failure to set up shared folders with the Virtualbox and ext script from the Oracle site.
I did have success with the MX debs.
I have added them to our repos so expect them to come shortly.
