What VPN’s work with antiX, the one I was using required systemd.

Not that informative. Do you actually expect us to venture a guess which vpn didn’t work for you? Nevertheless, apt-cache search vpn and sudo apt-get –simulate install is your friend:

::The VPN is ProtonVPN, I was using it on MX Linux with systemd activated. Trying to switch the computer over to antiX.
