      Hiyall,
      I started using ‘Space’ instead of the default wallpaper.
      When I boot up I get 1 sec of the default before it switches to ‘Space’. Is this normal?

        I think you are seeing the default background from the login manager theme – a black-&-white copy of the default wallpaper.
        (It looks really cool, when you use the default wallpaper – it’s black-&-white then turns to color, of the same image.)

        You can change the theme and/or the background of the login manager theme from the antiX control centre – session – login manager.
        Try setting it to the space theme. 🙂

          Are you saying that i can have a mono (black n white) PERMANENT version of ‘moon’ on the Live-USB?

            I’m saying that if you change the “login manager” theme to “space”, then the login manager will have a black-&-white version of that picture as the login manager background. Then THAT picture will show up for about 1 second, and your “colored” version of “space” will show up & will be your desktop wallpaper.

            Alternatively, if you change your desktop wallpaper to this picture (/usr/share/slimski/themes/Space/background.jpg), then your desktop wallpaper will be a black-&-white version of “space.jpg” (because that image IS black-&-white). (But if you don’t change your login manager theme, as well, then the old picture will still show up for 1 second first, anyway…)

            It’s a matter of personal taste. I think it looks really cool to have them match like my first statement, above… But it’s your antiX. 🙂

              I’ll just fiddle around ’til I get what I want. I see having both installed and USB with the same desktop as confusing.
