The typical US citizen is not particularly excited about their representation. It’s not easy to change when nearly all people in office are from “elite” backgrounds, not at all like the people that they supposedly represent. It’s definitely not “perfect”.
As far as having opportunity to be what you want to be and do what you want to do, if you want to put in the effort, it is possible to have success. America’s a nation of immigrants from all of the countries represented by the users of antiX- Greek. Italian, German, French, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Middle Eastern (many countries) African, South America, Mexico and Canada and many more.
