This is one of my new favorite wallpapers from unsplash.com. On the Trisquel forum we were talking about how it is a bit reminiscent of old Santiago in his tiny fishing boat far out on the ocean off the coast of Cuba in Hemingway’s The Old Man and The Sea.

Nice to see Olive kitty make her return. Do you take requests linuxdaddy? I think Olive kitty playing in a patch of green grass this spring would make for a very nice wallpaper.

                  Here are a few more.
first photo is a cat-faced spider, which is a member of the Orb Weaver spider family.

the other two photos are of my Olive kitty.

Of course, this sailboat looks a TINY bit more luxurious than Santiago’s old fishing boat.

There isn’t much green grass to play in NM right now but here is one under 1mb.

She looks younger there to me. Very pretty kitty.

Thanks that one is a bit older one but one of the few with green grass.
Here is one from a few weeks ago. She is 4 years old this year.

I saved this one too on my brand new USB image.

(Side joke: for some reason, this particular image made me think of the now discontinued show, “Big Bang Theory”.
Those of you who may have been regular viewers might know that Sheldon Cooper, one of the primary characters on the show, was a Physics genius, but also strange.
The one thing he closely held from his childhood years was a song that his mother would sing to him when he was not feeling well: “Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur…”) 🙂

I’ve seen a lot of episodes. Here’s Olive as soft kitty.

                                  That’s great Linixdaddy!

Nice picture of “Soft Kitty” Olive.

                                  Plus you made me laugh.

Thanks for your excellent work and your sense of humor too.
