      nice one @skidoo,

took a few more of Olive recently and resized them. These are with
a Tamron AF 70-300mm macro LD 1:2 lens on a Nikon D3200 camera.

a “CIRCUIT BOARD with antiX powered lean, clean power” (thanks skidoo) and more of “Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty…” add more fine art and love to the community

Thanks to all who continue to share their contributions. Whether they are an official part of a release or not, they can be non-commercially used as your personal wallpaper, if you so choose.

This moon scene tricks my eyes.
The patches of out-of-focus “fog” seem to be drifting as though animated.

I’ve previously noticed this effect (but, to a lesser extent) when viewing artwork containing “gradient” shades.

This, for instance, sometimes (tired? eyestrain?) looks (to me, at least) like it is pulsing or somehow animated.
                  .
                  .

not related but, train of thought (tricky animation) reminded me of this mindbender:

it happens when the bokeh blur is in front of the subject while shooting.

Here is a couple more photos.

Here is one of the storm clouds and drops on a windshield. I took recently.
                      Both at 3200×2200.
For some reason the forum software flipped the drops photo the first time.

                            thx Brian.

think they would be good as B&W too?

A couple of them might be worth trying in black and white;. I’d have to see. I’m guessing that the bugs and vegetation may lose some of their beautiful contrast, but who knows, maybe they’ll come out fine too.

While I *love* the pictures in color, the black and white images are still impressive for those who want them.
