This is still one of my favorite background images
(Cumberland Falls, Corbin, Kentucky, USA)
I’ve driven past Corbin, KY on Interstate 75 many times, but I’ve not stopped for a visit.
I have seen both the American and Canadian side of Niagara Falls many times, and also a few small falls in various locations.
This park happens to have many pictures taken, some of which are freely available on-line.

Yes andyprough. That’s another nice picture. It really is a nice park and a nice area. Even from the Interstate highway, which does NOT have an immediate view of either the park or the water, it’s still one of the nicer areas along the drive between Michigan, where we used to live, and South Carolina. where we live today.

@linuxdaddy: good one once again, but here’s a funny one:

As I was scrolling into the image, only a part of the stem of the leaf was visible until I scrolled a bit further and saw the complete image.

So here’s what I *INITIALLY* thought I saw in the curl of the leaf stem: a fishing hook!

(Maybe I miss fishing with my late father, who passed away just over 20 years ago, but I saw the humor in this and wanted to share my chuckle at my mistake with you!)

I haven’t been fishing in years. Here is one more of the
Rio Grande River in New Mexico.
And the other is misty storm clouds over the Florida Mountains south of
Deming, NM. Haven’t edit any of Olive kitty this week.
