Has Olive’s hair gotten darker than it was or is that simply because of the lighting?

Both Beanie and Olive are looking good!

A few thoughts for true freedom ……
1: Where ever there is greed and selfishness, evil will always smile upon.
2: Wherever there is sharing of ideas and caring, good prevails and thrives.
I’ll fight for the second thought before joining or doing for the first.
A thought, quote and belief of yours truly : from Linuxdaddy.

Thank you for the nice picture and the kind, encouraging words; I appreciate them both!

@linuxdaddy: re. fireresized1-scaled.jpg – well done, as always.

I may try this one out and see if it fits my overall scheme. Whether yes or no, it’s a very nice picture, one I’ll hang on to in my collection.

                    Thanks!

@linuxdaddy: If those hot coals were nearby, we’d all be warm. We’re at 49 degrees F as we approach the midnight hour in South Carolina. Indoors it’s fine, and we had a nice day in the low sixties, but winter is approaching, even here.

Brian: it’s 23 degrees F here tonight in New Mexico for a low. Glad you like these photos.

We’re “only” expecting a low of 37 tonight.

Once we hit winter, we typically have day time high temperatures in the low forties and overnight lows in the upper twenties to low thirties, but we’re not there yet. We’ve had a few chilly days with highs in the fifties and lows in the low thirties, but we’ve inched back toward the low sixties; looking at our forecast, we have some more WARM weather heading our way with temps crossing 70 from at least Thursday to Saturday unless the forecast changes.

Having lived in either Michigan or New Hampshire for most of my life, I like this better. Even with “high humidity” summers, believe it or not, it’s more pleasant than Great Lakes weather, because the Great Lakes bring a heavy kind of high humidity. Even when it is somewhat uncomfortably warm here, it’s still more like a sauna; near the lakes when it’s hot, the moisture rising off the lakes is much heavier, to the point that it can be difficult to breathe on the most humid days; on the flip side, that same moisture feel from the lakes, even if it moderates the super cold, also makes the cold chill to the bone; don’t feel that here often.

Now you can see why I appreciate those warm or even hot coals!

Very nice capture; nice integration of the background and the butterfly image, with good detail in both foreground and background, another nice piece!
                                Thanks!
