        yes

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          … using several ways:
1- the Firefox browser provided out of the box (in a pc with less than 10 years, you’ll probably be able to stream 360p videos without problems…
2- using mpv (copy the link of the desired youtube video and in the terminal type “mpv” + space + youtube video link. This way you’ll even get to stream hd video on ancient pc’s without major problems. only drawback; on a slow machine it takes a while for the video to start playing…
3- using the app Smtube, also provided out of the box (think of it as a kind of non official youtube app, able to downloads/play the youtube videos you want, using MPV, por example).

One way to do it is to use the antiX in-house app named Streamlight. It works just fine on both new high powered kit and on old low spec machines. It can be used with or without a web browser. It is able to play and download videos.

I’ve always watched YT vids via firefox – depending on which of my machines – sometimes need to let it fill a buffer before watching.

              Linux (& BSD) since 1999
