Maybe you could reconsider adding
.site-header {
background-position: center center;
}
in the .css of your forum, instead of
.site-header {
position: relative;
}
That would result in better centered image.
can’t save the world, but you CAN save yourself from having to scroll past that 8cm tall “header” (masthead) during each pageview
